Training Leaders at All Costs
HFT Travels to the Persecuted Nations to Train Leaders

We recently finished an ILI National Conference for a heavily persecuted nation; this is also a closed country for Christians. Anyone found worshipping Christ is simply removed from the country by authorities. Thousands have been displaced from their homes into other nations, and many families now live in camps.

God raised ten dynamic young leaders from this persecuted nation to attend the ILI leadership training conference, and the Holy Spirit powerfully renewed their hearts and minds. To summarize many of their remarks, one leader said, "ILI is in our hearts, and it cannot be taken away. We will make a difference in this nation!”

Although several leaders traveled three to four days to arrive, their level of interest was high. They only took a break for lunch each day. The participants eagerly returned each morning for the start of a new session. The week was a powerful time, and each teaching was packed with the Lord’s grace to empower these leaders. Many were filled with tears of thanksgiving.

Another leader said, "I thought this conference was going be a preaching session with international leaders doing most of the speaking, but I was surprised to learn the reality of leadership. I have never heard such truth in a teaching."
Please pray for our team as we enter yet another persecuted nation and teach Christian leadership to young, first generation Christians, almost like New Testament times.
